Music School

I started spending my weekends at Yamaha Music School, playing the electone. It was a wonderful class, and I attended for 10 years, eventually reaching Level 6. Reaching Level 5 qualifies you to sit the examination to become a teacher. My sight-playing was strong, but the ear-training component was always a humbling challenge for me.

My First Exhibition

Before graduation, I chose to take part in an internship program, an opportunity to work within a real company on a real project. I joined NorthStar, which was at the beginning of its "Chiene Gods" concept. While most of my peers gravitated toward traditional animation, I wanted to do something that drew on a broader mix of skills. I chose to create a VR card game, which let me develop across graphic design, 3D modelling, animation, and mobile VR.

Bachelor's Graduation with Class Honours

After four years of hard work, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animation with Second Class Honours. The programme broadened my perspective on mixed media. I experimented with VR, AR, and Leap Motion, and worked across tools including Autodesk Maya, Blender, and Unity.

UNESCO-Funded Project

I was selected as one of six Thai representatives from Chiang Mai University to participate in a project at Bournemouth University under the ANIAGE initiative. The project focused on preserving Southeast Asian traditional dance by capturing and animating the movements in Autodesk Maya, then translating them into tangible data, allowing the precise position of each joint to be reproduced physically.

The Starting Point of My Product Design Journey

Drawing on my background in 3D animation, I was offered a junior UX/UI Design + 3D Animation role. I had the opportunity to develop a mascot from 2D concept through to 3D model and animation, then prepare it as web-ready assets so it could land seamlessly on the company's website and be interactive for users.

Year 30

My First UX/UI Design Workshop

I was invited by my alma mater, Chiang Mai University, to lead a six-hour workshop. Participants were second and third-year students from a range of majors, so I structured the session to be accessible to beginners while progressively challenging for those with more experience. The arc ran from ideation to information architecture to wireframe prototyping, ensuring every participant, regardless of background, could contribute ideas beyond just the visual layer.

Present

Joined a Few Early-Stage Startups

Right now I am working across two completely opposite worlds, one product for marketing, one for developers. No matter how different they are, the question I always come back to is the same: does this actually make sense to the person using it? Then sprinkle in that little something that makes it feel just right.
